1. About these terms

Vapus (the "Service") is a personal health record service run by Shoonya Origins, Pune, India ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Legal Disclaimer. If you do not agree, please do not use Vapus.

2. Who can use Vapus

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement. Vapus is not intended for children to use on their own.

If you manage the health record of another person, such as a parent or a child, you are responsible for having the right to do so and for using their information lawfully and with their consent where required.

3. Your account

You must give accurate information and keep your sign-in details secret. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

Tell us promptly at contact@shoonyaorigins.com if you think someone else has accessed your account.

4. What Vapus is, and is not

Vapus lets you keep a personal record of symptoms, documents and medications, give other people access, and create time-limited read-only links.

Vapus is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Nothing in Vapus, including any insight, reading or suggestion, replaces a qualified health professional. See the Legal Disclaimer.

Some parts of Vapus, such as the intelligence modules described on our website, are experimental or still in development, and may change or never be released.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you put into Vapus ("Your Content"). You give us only the permission we need to store, process and display it to you and to the people you choose, so that we can run the Service.

You confirm that you have the right to upload Your Content and that it does not break the law or anyone's rights.

You can delete entries, documents and medications yourself. To close your account and have your data removed, contact us (see the Privacy Policy).

6. Sharing and delegates

You decide who can see Your Content. When you invite a delegate or create a share link, you are choosing to make information available to that person.

• Anyone who holds a share link can view what it contains until it expires or you revoke it. Send links only to the person you intend.
• Delegates act on the access level you give them. You can remove a delegate at any time.
• We are not responsible for what a person does with information you choose to share with them.

7. Credits

Vapus is free to use for building your own record. Creating a share link uses one share credit. New accounts may receive a starter grant of credits.

• Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred to another person and are not redeemable for money.
• If a share link cannot be created after a credit is taken, the credit is returned. A link you revoke yourself is not refunded.
• We may change how credits work or are priced. We will give notice on our website before a change affects you.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use Vapus unlawfully, or to harm, harass or defraud anyone;
• access or try to access another person's account or data without permission;
• upload malicious code, or try to disrupt, overload or probe the Service for weaknesses without our written permission;
• use automated tools to scrape, copy or overload the Service;
• misrepresent who you are, or use Vapus to share someone else's health information without the right to.

9. Availability and changes

We work to keep Vapus available but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, pause or discontinue any part of the Service. Where a change materially affects you we will try to give reasonable notice.

Keep your own copies of important documents. Vapus is a convenient record, not a backup or archive service.

10. Suspension and closing your account

You can stop using Vapus at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms or puts the Service or other people at risk. Where we can, we will tell you why.

11. Disclaimers

To the extent the law allows, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without promises about accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or that it will meet your needs. Health-related information in Vapus, including anything produced by software, may be incomplete or wrong.

12. Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, or loss arising from your reliance on the Service for health decisions. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Pune, Maharashtra have jurisdiction over disputes, unless the law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms. We will change the date at the top and, for significant changes, give notice on our website or by email. If you keep using Vapus after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms.
