Effective 18 September 2026 · Version 1.0

The short version

  • Your prospects, pitches, Company DNA and call analysis live on your own computer by default, and the AI that processes them runs locally.
  • We hold your account, licence and billing details, plus whatever you choose to sync to your Raptor web workspace.
  • The only usage data used for shared learning is anonymised outcome statistics, with no company names, contact names, emails or message text, encrypted before it is sent.
  • We do not sell personal data.
  • You can export or wipe your local data at any time, and email us to have your account deleted.

1. Scope

This policy explains how Shoonya Origins ("we", "us") handles information in connection with Raptor: the Windows app, the web app and the Raptor pages on our website. It adds to our general Shoonya Origins Privacy Policy, which covers the rest of the site, including the analytics and cookies used on it.

2. Data that stays on your device

Raptor is local-first. By default, the following is created and kept on your own computer, in a .raptor folder in your Windows user profile:

  • your Company DNA and the documents and web pages it was built from;
  • prospects, dossiers, competitor battle cards and pipeline records;
  • generated pitches and their validation results;
  • call analysis (sentiment, objections, summaries and next steps), with call audio processed on your machine by a local transcription model;
  • learning data (interaction history and pattern statistics);
  • encrypted secrets, protected with keys generated on your device.

The AI models that write, coach and analyse run on your computer through Ollama, so this content is not sent to a third-party AI provider.

3. What we collect and what leaves your device

InformationWhenWhere it goes, and why
Account details: name, email, sign-in methodWhen you register or log inOur authentication provider (Supabase), to create and secure your account. Passwords are handled by that provider; if you use Google sign-in we receive the profile details Google shares.
Workspace data: CRM contacts, deals, campaigns, tickets, and items synced from the desktop app such as company DNA, dossiers, pipeline, pitches, competitor cards and call summariesWhen you use the web app or sync featuresYour Raptor workspace, hosted with Supabase, so your data is available across the desktop and web apps and to your team.
Licence and billing: email, licence key, plan, payment statusAt purchase and when the app checks your licenceOur licence service; payments are handled by our payment processor (Lemon Squeezy), and licence emails are sent through our email provider (Resend). We do not store your card details.
Search queriesWhen Raptor searches for prospectsRelayed through our proxy to a search provider (SerpAPI) so the search API key never ships inside the app.
Anonymised outcome statistics: interaction type, timestamp, day of week, industry, channel, pitch angle and outcomeRoughly once a dayOur servers at api.shoonyaorigins.com, encrypted before sending. They are used for shared learning; we send back updated scoring weights. Company names, contact names, emails and message content are not included.
Delegated crawling: the target URL and your client IDOnly when a heavy crawl is handed to our serversOur servers, to fetch and process the page; results return to your device.
Messages you send usWhen you email usOur email, so we can reply.

4. Prospect and contact data you handle

Raptor helps you research and contact other people. The prospect and contact data you collect and use is yours, and you are its controller. Apart from the items in the table above, it stays on your device, or in your workspace if you use the web app. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to process it and for honouring requests from the people it concerns. See our Terms.

5. How we use information

We use the information we hold to provide and secure the Service, create and manage accounts and licences, process payments, respond to support requests, keep scoring and pitch selection improving through shared statistics, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal data.

6. Who we share it with

We share information only with providers that help us run the Service and only as needed: authentication and database hosting (Supabase), payments (Lemon Squeezy), transactional email (Resend), search (SerpAPI) and application hosting for our licence service. We may also disclose information where the law requires it or to protect rights and safety. If the business is transferred, information may transfer with it under the same commitments.

When you connect your own services, such as an email account, a WhatsApp Business number or an AI provider key, data flows to those providers under your agreement with them.

7. Security

Secrets on your device are encrypted with keys generated per install rather than shared across customers. The shared-learning payload is encrypted before it is sent. The app checks file paths against traversal, blocks unsafe internal web addresses and sanitises scraped text. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that information will never be accessed without authorisation. Keep your device, your account credentials and your licence key safe.

8. Retention and deletion

Data on your device stays there until you delete it. You can use the app's reset and wipe controls, or delete the .raptor folder. For account and workspace data, we keep it while your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account we will delete or anonymise your data, except records we must keep, such as billing and tax records. Anonymised statistics cannot be linked back to you and may be kept.

9. Your choices and rights

You can export a full backup of your local data from the app. You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to explain how it is processed. If you are in India, you have rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023; if you are in the EEA or UK, you have rights under the GDPR. To exercise any of them, or to raise a grievance, email contact@shoonyaorigins.com.

10. Children

The Service is for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

11. International processing

Our providers may process information in countries other than yours, including outside India. Where we can, we choose providers that protect it appropriately.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will post the new version here with a new effective date and give notice of material changes through the website or the app.

13. Contact
