1. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account or otherwise using Eklavya, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must also agree to these terms on your behalf, consistent with the parental consent process described in our Privacy Policy.

2. What Eklavya is

Eklavya is a longitudinal career-guidance platform: it helps you build an evolving profile of your academic history, interests, skills, and achievements, and uses that profile to surface scholarships, colleges, internships, certifications, and job opportunities that may be relevant to you. Where Eklavya is deployed alongside a school's learning platform, your course activity on that platform may automatically contribute signal to your Eklavya profile — this is described in detail in our Privacy Policy.

3. What Eklavya is not

• Eklavya is not a licensed career counselor, guidance counselor, or educational consultant, and nothing in the platform constitutes professional career, financial, legal, or educational advice.
• Eklavya does not guarantee admission, selection, or acceptance to any scholarship, college, internship, or job it surfaces — recommendations are informational, based on an automated matching process, and final decisions always rest with the opportunity provider.
• Eklavya does not independently verify every opportunity listed in its database for continued accuracy or availability at every moment; always confirm details (deadlines, eligibility) directly with the provider before applying.

4. Your account and responsibilities

• You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, and for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You agree not to use Eklavya to submit false achievement records, impersonate another person, or misuse the community features (spam, harassment, or posting content that isn't your own).
• If you use Eklavya's AI-assisted features, you understand your messages may be processed by a third-party AI provider as described in our Privacy Policy, and that AI-generated suggestions (career track classifications, profile extractions, opportunity matches) may occasionally be inaccurate and should be reviewed by you before you rely on them.

5. AI features and their limitations

Eklavya's career-track classification is currently a rule-based approximation, not a machine-learning model trained on real outcome data — it is one input among several to help focus your search, not a definitive assessment of your abilities or potential. Match scores and recommendations are algorithmic estimates, not guarantees of suitability or eligibility.

6. Fair use of AI features

AI-powered features (conversational onboarding, opportunity matching explanations, and similar) are provided subject to usage limits designed to keep the service sustainable and prevent abuse. If your usage exceeds what your institution has provisioned, you may be asked to provide your own API key from a supported AI provider to continue.

7. Community content

Content you post in Eklavya's community features (interest groups, posts) is visible to other members of that group, or to other Eklavya users for ungrouped posts. Don't post anything you wouldn't want visible to peers on the platform. We may remove content that violates these terms or applicable law.

8. Intellectual property

The Eklavya name, branding, and platform software are the property of Shoonya Origins. You retain ownership of the content you personally submit (journal entries, achievement descriptions, posts), and grant us a limited license to store and display it back to you (and, where applicable, to the group you posted it in) as part of operating the service.

9. Termination

You may stop using Eklavya and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, misuse the platform, or pose a security risk to other users.

10. Changes to the service and these terms

Eklavya is an active, evolving venture. Features described on this site may change, and this early-stage product should be expected to evolve significantly as it matures. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when these terms change materially.

11. Limitation of liability

Eklavya is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shoonya Origins is not liable for decisions made based on Eklavya's recommendations, or for the accuracy, availability, or outcome of any third-party opportunity listed on the platform.
