Longitudinal Profiling

Most career tools take a snapshot — a one-time quiz, a single resume upload. Eklavya builds a profile that grows with you, from age 12 through professional life, so the guidance you get keeps getting sharper the longer you use it.

Why a snapshot isn't enough

A single aptitude test taken at 16 tells you almost nothing about who you'll be at 20. Interests shift, skills compound, and academic performance in one subject in one year is a weak predictor on its own. Eklavya's whole premise is that the accumulated pattern — not any single data point — is what actually predicts fit.

What goes into your profile

Academic records

Institution, subject domain, scores, and level, entered by you or automatically carried over from course completions.

Interests & skills

Declared directly, extracted from conversation, or inferred from what you engage with — each tracked with an intensity or proficiency score, not just a checkbox.

Achievements

Competition wins, certifications, and milestones you log yourself, plus ones the platform can detect automatically — like a strong mock-interview score.

Activity journal

Short, regular reflections on what you did or learned, kept strictly private — visible to no one but you, not even platform administrators.

Every fact knows where it came from

Eklavya tags every entry in your profile with its source: something you entered manually, something our AI extracted from a conversation, or something derived automatically from your activity elsewhere on the platform. Nothing overwrites what you told us yourself — automatically-derived signal is additive, never a silent correction.

A profile that compounds

Because your profile persists and grows, the matching engine (see Personalized Matching) has more to work with the longer you're on the platform — turning continuous use into continuously better recommendations, instead of a guidance session that goes stale the day it ends.
